PerformanceTest from Passmark is a Windows program designed to allow its users to make performance tests on a computer. It creates an objective benchmark using 28 different pre-designed tests which can be saved to be compared afterwards to other tests and computers.
The tests will allow the user to make changes on the system configuration in order to optimize the performance, according to his needs. The tests exercises the CPU, graphics, audio, discs, optical drives, memory, networking, threads, cores, and more.
As of this version the program has support for 64 bit Windows and 64 bit Xeon CPUs. New RAM memory tests can be made for DDR3 type. Users now have the option of exporting benchmark reports in HTML format for easier and universal viewing.
New CPU processors were added to the list, including iCores and AMD triple cores. DirectX 10, 3D and HD performance tests were updated to test the newest graphic cards.
The trial version is full and has no functionality restrictions, the only limitation of the trial version is that it will only run for a limited period of time.
